Despite a grim forecast the weather resulted in
only a passing shower or two. We had a walking tour through the town which
finished at the impressive Château de Saint-Malo, which houses the town museum
in its keep. There were a lot of good views from the town walls. It was fairly well destroyed during World War II.
There was a
warship being launched the day we were there.
The museum was OK but there were several things they could do to improve
it, like audio-visual presentations.
