Today was an ungodly start at 6.30 AM as we went on a
wilderness tour. Our tour guide was
Conrad and we saw a young Moose, some White Tail Deer, Beaver dams, Bison, a Brown
bear with cubs and Turkey Vultures. We saw some great views of the Grand Tetons.
We took the hotel’s free shuttle into town
and Elizabeth bought a beautiful Navaho rug for a wall hanging. We walked
around the town of Jackson, had some Bagels and walked back to the hotel. Jackson is a high end tourist town and the western architecture gives it a ot of atmosphere.
The town square has four giant entrances made of elk antlers.
We used the time to catch up on our blogs as it has been difficult to keep up with long days of activity. Being a tourist has been hard work but at least I haven’t had to OneSchool it.
