Day 16 Friday 9 June 2017

Today was a 90 minute cruise on Lake Powell. Finished in 1963, it was to provide water for agriculture. The boat travelled up a submerged narrow canyon called Antelope Canyon.  It is a very popular spot with a variety of water users.

This part of the cruise was really quite memorable.

This afternoon we travel to Bryce Canyon and saw the most magnificent views of what is called the amphitheatre.  Suggestions that it looked like the entombed warriors seems apt.

The evening entertainment was at Ebenezer’s and we got there in a tractor steam train with carriages. This was a Western theatre restaurant.  There were over 400 people there and they were highly organised with the food.  The entertainment was good.  Tomorrow is a free day and an opportunity to catch up on laundry, sleep and blogs.
