Our hotel room, located in central Madrid is
lovely, with an extensive bathroom and a giant bear in the foyer. It was nice to have a relaxing breakfast.
Today we went to the National Archaeological Museum and it was exceedingly
good. In particular their Stone Ages and Roman occupation of Spain were very
good.
We met our Travel Director, Betty Griffith and our
tour group, and enjoyed tapas and drinks with our new peeps at a local
restaurant near the Royal Palace.
