It was a very long drive to Valencia, the City of
Arts and Sciences. The area was full of wonderfully designed buildings.
Rather than have a walking tour we opted to visit a museum that houses the largest collection of lead toy soldiers in the world, over 90,000 miniatures. It was simply breathtaking with the variety of
soldiers on display. We then headed off to a military museum where there was an understandable bias towards Spanish military
history.
It was too far to walk to these museums so we used a taxi, and in our
best Spanish did manage to organise the driver to come back and collect us at a specified time.
