Day 86 16 June 2015 Amsterdam

We arrived into Amsterdam this morning and had breakfast.  Elizabeth was feeling unwell so she saw a doctor.  No windmills for us today. We called a doctor as Elizabeth has been unwell for quite some time.  The diagnosis was that she had a bad cold and could take pain relief to keep her temperature down and she would recover in time.  We did go across to the Red Light District tonight where the girls sit in windows displaying their wares.  The red lights indicate that they are female and a blue light means they were born male but may appear female. This blog should educate. It was a bit of an eye opener. I wasn’t intending to take any photographs but apparently you are not supposed to which is just as well.

Amsterdam is a dangerous place.  Not the easy access to drugs, the public display of sexual appetites or the groups of young men (mainly UK) looking for both nut it’s the bicycles!  You have to be so careful to watch both ways and pedestrian crossings are no right of way for pedestrians, more like wishful thinking.
