As we continue down the west coast of Ireland. we visit the village of Cong where the movie The Quiet Man was filmed with Maureen O’Hara and John Wayne.
The remains of this early hospital is also in the village.
There was evince of the practice of removing peat which they still do today.
We had a quick trip to the Connemara pottery and stopped for lunch in Galway which is quite a large town. They had beautiful white, rose, black and green marble.

We stopped at the Drumcliffe cemetery to visit WB Yeats’ grave.
