Day 35 Waterford to Dublin 21 May 2018

This morning we visited the Waterford factory and left with a much greater appreciation of the skill involved. Some of the pieces of art, others were just ugly but we didn’t take photos of them.

On the way to Dublin we stopped for a hurling demonstration. Hurling is less than of sport as a national obsession in Ireland. It is huge. Some of our party did well in the demonstrations, others less than impressive. It was good fun.

We also held the national trophy for hurling which was an incredible bonus. This isn't me but one of our tour buddies Raymond. My photo is some where yet to be discovered.

We had lunch in Kilkenny and visited a medieval museum created out of deconsecrated church and their presentation was really good.

We arrived in Dublin and at nigh we went to an Irish cabaret where the food was good and the entertainment was very good indeed, singing, dancing and a few jokes.
