Day 12 Saturday 4 April At Sea

Morning lecture Commanders at ANZAC which was quite OK but didn’t do the Brigade commanders. In the afternoon it is about the history of Sri Lanka.  There has been a lot of coughing in the audience.  I think it’s going from hot to cold and back again. We had a gala night where all our waiters dressed as Balinese.  This was easy for our waiter called
Ben a lovely young man on the left.  Roz the other lady at our dinner table is a primary school teacher from Adelaide.

Kate Cebrano concert tonight, a class act all the way!  We are along the coast of Sri Lanka, and we are not due to arrive until about 6.00 AM tomorrow morning but the pilot is on board and we have slowed right down, but now we seem to have sped up again.  No internet access, I thought at this point there may have been something. The sad thing is that if I upload images we will arive home before they upload.  We hope to upload them once we hit Europe.

  1. What a great running commentary. I've been sitting on my hands so I don't leave comments that would put you in a Turkish prison, subject you to an internal body search, or raise the eyebrows of your students...so far so good.

All goes well at home, no incidents...but the sheep miss you.
