Day 42 5 May 2015 Jungfraujoch, Switzerland

This was going to be a highlight of the trip, going to one of the tallest mountains in the Alps by two trains and a cog railway.  Brilliant views except the summit was in cloud.  No view from the top unfortunately but we were lucky as it had snowed the previous two days and the next day it snowed so they would have had no views at all.  The trip cost 136 Swiss Francs which translates to about A$180 each.  We had already paid for it as part of the trip but it was pretty special. Elizabeth can be seen with a promotional poster and what it should look like.  You will also see a picture of Erich Von Daniken's now defunct theme park with pyramid and Incan temple.
